Ella Tasker

March 13, 1950 — August 22, 2015

Ella Darlene (Tranum) Tasker, 65, of Oakland went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 13, 1950 in Kitzmiller, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Ella Mae (Brown) Tranum. Ella was a homemaker who loved to bake, cook and create a beautiful home for her family. In 2010, she married the man of her dreams, her prince charming, Don. Her heart belonged to a coal miner. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all. Ella leaves behind her husband, Don Tasker; four daughters, Toni Lee Long and husband John of Stephens City, VA, Jennifer Long of Aliquippa, PA, Melissa Connelly and husband Mills of Columbia, SC and Kristy Sisler and husband Randy of Mt. Storm, WV; a son, Charles Roberts and wife Sandra of Cumberland; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Tranum and wife Linda of Youngstown, OH; a sister, Delores Bruner and husband Milton of Aurora, WV; brothers and sisters-in-law, Beverly Bridgers and husband Henry of Boiling Springs Lake, NC, Roger Tasker, Cecil Tasker and wife Elsie, Betty Sweitzer, Eddie Sweitzer and wife Barb, all of Deer Park. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Grover Thomas Tranum. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, August 24th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 25th at 11 AM with Pastor John Skipper officiating.
