Elizabeth A. (Goss) Corwell, 76, of Mt. Lake Park died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on October 9, 1936 in Loch Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Mary J. (Murphy) Goss. She worked in management and customer service for Eckerd Pharmacy in Texas and Wal-Mart in Oakland. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles H. Corwell; children, James Standle and wife Kathie of New Hampshire, Kenneth Standle and wife Cathy of Maryland, and Steven Standle and wife Amanda of Virginia; grandchildren, Amy, Jimmy, Keith, Amber, Wolfgang and Beauxwolf; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen M. (Goss) Niner and husband William of Loch Lynn; and a brother, Franklin G. Goss and wife Claudia of Walkersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Robert "Pumpkin" and Mary Ellen "Pussyfoot" Standle; and a sister, M. Geneva (Goss) Collins. According to her wishes, Elizabeth has been cremated. The Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.
