Eleanor A. Wilson, 64, formerly of Oakland died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Mt. Airy. Born on June 1, 1950, she was the foster daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Peterson. She had attended the Underwood United Brethren Church. She is survived by two brothers, George Snyder of Colorado and Andy Snyder of Garrett County, as well as the many friends over the years whom she cared about and who cared for her. In addition to her foster parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Wilson, to whom she was married in 1971; an infant daughter, Mildred P. Wilson; and a brother, John B. Snyder. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, November 28th from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 29th at 10 AM with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Underwood Church Cemetery.
