Elbert E. Custer, 86, of Blaine, WV died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. Born on December 31, 1925 in Reynolds, MD he was the son of the late James William and Carrie V. (Klipstein) Custer. He worked as a service station attendant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie M. Custer and five brothers, Courtney, Wilber, Cecil, Vernon and Raymond Custer. Elbert was the last member of his immediate family and is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the BURDOCK-FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 North Second Street, Oakland, on Monday, from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held in the funeral home. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Barton.
