Edward Coppola, 75 of Oakland, MD, passed away, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born March 18, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Epiphany & Marie Santa (Military) Coppola. He was also preceded in death by brother-Robert Coppola.
Edward had been a general contractor.
Surviving are: wife-Priscilla (Metheny) Coppola; son-Edward N. Coppola and wife, Kathy, Panama City, FL; daughters-Diane Bateman, Oakland and Patty Bennett and husband, Joe, Johnstown, PA; brother-Thomas R. Coppola, Pittsburgh, PA and sister-in-law-Mary Ann Coppola, Irvin, PA; eight grandchildren-Brian, Matt, Kristin, Jonathan, Tristan, Nathan, Aaron and Jessica and four great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, in the funeral home chapel with Father Don Parson.
Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
