Earl Tichinel

Earl Robison Tichinel 75 of Swanton, MD, went to his heavenly home Friday, June 24, 2011 at Western Maryland Health Center Cumberland, MD.
Born Nov. 15, 1935 in Mt. Zion, Md, he was the son of the late John & Percy (Paugh) Tichinel.
Earl was retired from J & L Structural Steel, in Aliquippa, Pa.
Surviving are wife Bertha Ellen (Dickens) Tichinel, son Larry C Tichinel, Mt. Zion, two daughters Carla D. Haney and husband Richard, Long Beach, Miss. and Vicki Porto, Monaca, Pa. One brother Stanley F. Tichinel, Mt. Zion and two sisters, Marie Brown, Swanton, MD and Pauline Lambka, Elk Garden, WV. and four grandchildren Joshua, Stephanie, Elizabeth and Caitlin.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 North Second Street, Oakland, MD, on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev George Tichinel and Rodney Tichinel officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery where military grave side services will be accorded by various veterans organizations.
