Dwight James (Jim) Barrick, 68, formerly of Kitzmiller MD, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland, MD.
Jim was born, July 31, 1942 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Dwight and Mildred (Burdock) Barrick. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Barrick and sister, Peg Phillips.
Prior to his retirement, Jim was an Administrative secretary for a Health Care System in Washington, D. C.
Surviving are; brother, Robert (Bob) Barrick, Kitzmiller, MD and a special niece Jennifer (Barrick) Sivits and husband Russ and their children Rachel and Nathan; neice, Kimberly McNair and husband Brian and son Daniel; nephew Greg Phillips.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland, MD, Monday, January 3, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Angie Cosner officiating.
Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
