Douglas Dale Vanover, 58, of Lanesville, WV passed away January 5, 2014 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1955 at Yeager, WV, a son of Estel and Doris Lenora (Jackson) Vanover. He is survived by his wife Robin (Smith) Vanover, 1 son Ryan Vanover, Lanesville, WV, 1 daughter April Vanover Ends,Mocksville, NC, 1 brother Vernon Vanover, Oceana, WV, 3 sisters, Diana Wyatt, Parsons, WV, Wanda (Max) Cale, Hinton, WV, Karen Wyatt, Richmond, Va.
Mr. Vanover was employed as a surveyor for Mettiki coal mines for 34 years. Mr. Vanover enjoyed music, especially drumming.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6-9PM at Red Creek Bethel Church in Lanesville, WV. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Red Creek Bethel Church with the Rev. John Moyers officiating. Interment to follow at BuenaCemetery.
