Dot Arbogast

Dot Darlene (Sines) Arbogast, 69, of Friendsville passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Born on January 19, 1949, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late George and Hazel M. (Keefer) Sines.  She is survived by her five children and their spouses, SueAnn James and Jose Cortez, Kerry Shockey and Steve Shockey, Sandra Whealton and Warren Whealton, Sonya James and Eric Branthoover, and Ami Nicole Sherwood and William Sherwood; her former husband, Larry Arbogast; nine grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Jose, Renee, Tyler, Alexis, Leah, Alex and Erik; two great grandchildren, Kayson and Bentley; and siblings, Delmas Sines, Agnes Paugh, Janice Callis, Sue Brenneman, Patsy Douglas; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Robert Michael James; Shirley Kitzmiller, Robert Sines, Lawrence Sines, Delores “June” Holtschneider, James Sines and Foster “Dean” Sines; and her companion, “Pap”.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the Long Branch Saloon and Steakhouse, 1501 Maryland Hwy, Mtn. Lake Park on Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM.  The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting with arrangements.
