Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Sweitzer, 59, of Oakland went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on July 22, 1954 in Kitzmiller, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lee and Erma Marie (Beeman) Hauser. She attended the Mt. Top Assembly of God. In addition to spending time with her family, Dottie enjoyed shopping and was known to love a good bargain! She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Elwood E. Sweitzer; a son, Eric Sweitzer of Oakland; two brothers, Ron Hauser and John Hauser, both of Oakland; three sisters, Evelyn Durst of Vernon, FL, Linda Gift of Mt. Lake Park and Carol Sue Kisner of Accident; her godchild, Adrianne Kisner; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, January 17th from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday, January 18th from 9 to 10 AM at which time a funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, January 18th at 10 AM with Pastor Cyndi Tichnell officiating.
