Dorothy Eloise Rausch, 80 of Oakland, MD, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.

She lived for 28 years with her daughter Henrietta Lyons and husband, Bill.

Born November 18, 1930 in Cooperstown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold & Arlene (Pope) Vibbard. She was also preceded in death by husband-Douglas B. Rausch, brothers-Glenn Vibbard and Harold Vibbard, Jr.; grandson-B.J. Lyons; granddaughter- Jemmie Jene and great-grandson-Logan Lyons.

Dorothy had worked as an aid at Cuppett & Weeks Nursing Home.

Surviving are: one son-Miles Rausch, Cumberland, MD; four daughters-Lizetta Rausch Bittinger, and husband, Lester, VA, Alma Cosner and husband, Paul, Jr., McHenry, MD, Henrietta Lyons and husband, Bill, Oakland, MD and Nora Paugh and husband Robert, Sr., Oakland, MD; brothers-Ronald Vibbard, NY, Raymond Vibbard, PA, Douglas Vibbard and Gerald Vibbard, NY., one granddaughter- Jane Gank; seven grandsons-Robert Moats, Jr., Douglas Lyons, Kevin Lyons, Terry Cosner, Jerry Cosner and John Cosner and ten great grandchildren-Brittany, Dereck, Tiffany, William, Lilian, Marshall, Brainna, Bryson, Blake and Kimberly.

Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD; 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2010.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis Leatherman officiating.

Dorothy's body was cremated and inurnment will be at the Rocky Gap Cemetery, Cumberland, MD.
