Dorothy Harvey

Dorothy Edith Harvey, 77, of Kitzmiller, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at her residence.  Born on March 27, 1940 in Vindex, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Frances M. (Paugh) Sharpless.   Dorothy was a graduate of Southern High School.  She was a homemaker who loved to spend time outdoors with her family and caring for her grandchildren.  Dorothy was a member of Blaine Full Gospel Church.  She was a very hardworking woman with a beautiful caring heart.  Dorothy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert G. “Bob” Harvey; two sons, Michael Harvey and wife Fay, Donald Stiles and wife Tammy, all of Kitzmiller; grandchildren, Sara Harvey, Sam Harvey, Sierra Stiles, Olivia Stiles, Emily Haines, Brady Haines and Charlie Kile; a great grandson, Kaleb Stiles; two siblings, Naomi Skotniski and William “Buck” Sharpless.  In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by two siblings, Emma “Sis” Paugh and Richard “June” Sharpless.  Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 4-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 AM with Rev. Virginia Tichinel officiating.  Interment will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  www.csfredlockfh.com
