Dora Michaels

Dora Jean (Wilson) Michaels, 84, of Kitzmiller died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on August 17, 1929 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Clark) Wilson. She had retired as a USDA inspector. She is survived by her children, Jack Michaels of Kitzmiller, Margaret Michaels McCloud and husband Alvin of Woodbridge, VA, Pam Michaels Miller and husband Larry of Hagerstown and Daniel Michaels and wife Margaret of Kitzmiller; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Scott Wilson of Keyser, WV and Bill Wilson and wife Arlene of Deer Park; a sister, Patience "Skit" Paugh and husband Emory of Mt. Lake Park; a brother in law, Lee Reel of Kitzmiller; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eola Reel and Kathryn Wilson. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Wednesday, April 2nd from 5 to 8 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Matthew Paugh and Pastor Joe Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
