Donald F. "Donnie" Stewart, 61, of Elk Garden, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at his home. Born on March 16, 1955 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Harold F. "Bus" and Ernestine (Lucas) Stewart. He was a Union Coal Miner. Donnie loved to hunt and had been a member of the Mt. Top Hunt Club. He also loved to play cards and softball, but most of all he loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jane (Hottle) Stewart; two sons, Marshall and Louie Stewart, both of Elk Garden; three grandchildren, Matthew and Jordan Stewart, and Lacy Bowman; a great grandson, Brantly Bowman; and a sister, Sandra Kay Stewart of Alexandria, VA. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Friday, June 17th from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 18th at 11 AM with Pastor Lee Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden.
