Donald W. Manning, Sr., 63, of Oakland died on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on September 9, 1953 in Meridian, MS, he was the son of the late Ruby Lee (Grayson) Manning. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had also served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the DAV, Woodmen of the World, the West Virginia Native American Coalition and the Native American Intertribal Association. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Roberta M. Lewis. Services are private.
