Donald Henline

Donald Wade Henline, 78, of Seaford, DE, formerly of Oakland, died on Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on August 1, 1935 in Horseshoe Run, WV, he was the son of the late Leota Pearl Henline. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War and had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the construction business. He is survived by his children, Mitchell Lynn Rohrbaugh of Seaford, DE, Gary Wayne Henline and wife Jennifer of Waynesboro, VA and Janet Sue Willey of Seaford DE; five grandchildren, Anthony Rohrbaugh, Christopher Rohrbaugh, Jamie Stang, Emily Henline and Jenna Henline; one great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Frances Ruth Henline, on December 17, 2013 and a son, Terry William Rohrbaugh. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, April 25th from 10 AM to 12 Noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Military honors will be accorded at 12 Noon by the American Legion Proctor Kildow Post 71 and the Deer Park VFW Post 10077 combined honor guard. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
