Donald Elbert Copeland, 84, of Elk Garden, WV died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born March 18, 1926 in Keyser, WV. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Maude (Green) Copeland. He was also preceded by his wife, Elizabeth (Swansboro) Copeland.
Donald was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy.
He is survived by long time companion, Cora Copeland, two sons, Donald C. Copeland, Jr. of Manchester, Ohio and Ronald C. Copeland of Clearbrook, Virginia, two daughters, Mary Copeland, Akron, Ohio and Tammy Lee Falisevac of Riverview, Florida, one sister, Kathryn Evans of Baltimore, MD, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A. 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller, MD, on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
The funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on
Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating.
Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV
