Dennis Alexander Kosanic, 63, of Bayard, WV died on Monday, November 23, 2015 at his home. Born on November 20, 1952 in Parsons, WV, he was the son of the late William and Helen Pauline (Sampson) Kosanic. He was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rita F. (Cosner) Kosanic; three sons, Dennis Allen Kosanic and wife Belinda of Keyser, WV, David Kosanic and Brian Kosanic, both of Bayard; four grandchildren, Kendra and Kaden Kosanic and Kambria and Baylee Kosanic; two sisters, Tammy Bradford of Augusta, WV and Mary Barnes of California; and a brother, Joe Kosanic of Davis, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joni Lynn Kosanic; a sister, Patricia Byer; and a brother, William Kosanic. According to his wishes, Dennis was cremated and his family will hold a memorial service on a later date. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland, MD is assisting the family with arrangements.
