Dennis Copeland

Dennis "Smokey" Copeland, 88 of Elk Garden, WV passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at his residence.
Born November 9, 1923 in Elk Garden, WV, he was the son of the late John W. & Anna (Hickey) Copeland. He was also preceded in death by his wife-Wanda ( Stewart) Copeland, four brothers and four sisters.
Dennis worked as a coal miner and custodian at the Elk Garden Schools. He was a member of the Elk Garden United Methodist Church
Surviving are: sister-Anna Dawson-Willowick, Oh; great- nephew-John Ritterman & Millie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis's body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later day.
Inurnment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
