Delores "Jane" Scripp

Delores “Jane” Scripp, 62, of Oakland passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Garrett Regional Medical Center.  Born on August 19, 1956, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Cleadus K. and Nellie G. (Repetsky) Corbin.  Jane loved playing softball, watching the Steelers, 4-wheeling and spending time outdoors.  Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren, especially watching her grandson play ball and watching both of her granddaughters dance.  She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Brian “Chris” Scripp; daughters, Jennifer Bird and husband Rodney, Jr. of Oakland and Stacy Sheehy and husband Michael of Staunton, VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ryan and Nora; brothers, Carl Corbin and wife Joan of Bayard, WV, William Corbin and wife Sandy of Oakland, and Douglas Corbin and wife Judy of Moorefield, WV; a brother in law, Jim Rinehart; and several nieces.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diana Rinehart. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2ndSt., Oakland on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 1 to 5 PM.  In lieu of flowers, Jane’s family requests that donations be made to Cindy’s Fund, PO Box 182, Oakland, MD 21550.
