Delores Reckart

Delores Jean Reckart, 87, of Oakland, died on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Oakland Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on May 18, 1935, in Gorman, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Daisy (Everts) Schell.

Delores graduated from Oakland High School in 1953. She retired from First United Bank & Trust.

She is survived by a sister, Floretta Savage; two nephews, Terry Savage and wife Carol of Oakland, and Dennis Schell of Florida; and two nieces, Susan Schell and Deborah Skipper, both of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Reckart, and a brother, Robert L. Schell.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home P.A., 21 N 2ND St. Oakland, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 11 AM to 12 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12 PM with Pastor Tom Omholt officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
