Delores Holtschneider

Delores "June" Holtschneider, 78, of Oakland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Born on November 14, 1934 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Hazel M. (Keefer) Sines. She was a cook for Southern Middle School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and painting ceramics. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl E. Holtschneider; children, Nancy J. Lewis of McHenry, Barbara E. Holtschneider of Oakland, Carolyn J. Sines of Albright, WV and Gary L. Holtschneider and wife Charlotte (Marsh) of Oakland; grandchildren, N. Anne Shahan and husband Jim, Jennifer L. Moore and husband T.J., Jamey A. Lewis and wife Emma, Kristina L. Sanders and husband Jason, Jason B. Hardesty, April D. Danks and husband Daniel and Andrew Sines; great grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew and Michelle Shahan, Autumn Keplinger, Caspian Moore, Breckin, Braige and Rhyken Hardesty and Rhylinn Sanders; brothers and sisters, Lawrance "Mule" Sines, Agnes Paugh Sines, Janice Callis, Foster Dean Sines, Susan Brennaman, Delmas Sines, James Sines, Dorothy Arbogast and Patsy Douglas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Kitzmiller and a brother, Robert Sines. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, September 26th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th in the funeral home at 11 AM with Pastor Ed Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery.
