Debra Kroon

Debra Lee Savage Kroon, 56, of Oakland died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on December 21, 1958 in Mattituck, NY, she was a daughter of Samuel G. Savage of Oakland and the late Patricia (Nine) Savage. In addition to her father, she is survived by two sons, William Daniel Collins of Michigan and Robert Lee Collins of Oakland; Lilly Hartzell, who was raised as a daughter; four grandchildren, Jared Southern, Justin Collins, Donovan Collins and Steven Collins; sisters, Regina Calhoun and husband Lucky of Oakland, Karen Barry and husband Mike of Michigan, Crystal Jaggerson and husband Dwayne of Damascus, MD and Kimmie Stain and husband Pete of Clarksburg, MD; brothers, Warren Kim Savage and Steven Grant Savage, both of Virginia; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Norma Jean Savage and a nephew, Bradley Michael Savage. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, August 20th from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 21st at 11 AM with Dr. Charles Pariseau officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
