Debbie Kay Gaither, 59 of Mt. Lake Park, MD, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born July 2, 1952 in Elkins, WV; she was the daughter of the late Robert "Shorty" & Dolores (Foreman) Simmons.
Debbie was an Administrative Assistant at Garrett County Memorial Hospital for twenty-eight years and a member of the Bayard United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: husband-Daniel Gaither; daughter-Danielle Hazelwood and husband, Josh, Oakland, MD; sisters-Joell Downer and husband, John and Joni Callis and husband Fred, both of Oakland, MD; two granddaughters-Madi and Briella Hazelwood and several nephews and nieces.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Old Loch Lynn Church of God, First Avenue, Loch Lynn, MD with Pastor John Wolf and Pastor Cindy Ackerman officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service.

Debbie's body will be cremated.
