David Paugh

David William Paugh, Sr., 86 of Oakland, MD, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Oakland Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born June 29, 1925 in Kitzmiller, MD, he was the son of the late Miles G. & Myrtle Ethel (Harvey) Paugh. He was also preceded in death two brothers, Theodore Paugh and Nae Paugh.
David was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during World War II and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. David retired as an engineer with the C&P Telephone Company.
Surviving are his wife Betty (Evans) Paugh, one son, David William Paugh, Jr of Oakland, two daughters Vickie Rice, Fayettville N.C. and Barbara Jean Perando, Oakland. One sister, Pauline Kitzmiller, of Kitzmiller, MD, seven grandchildren and ten great grand children.
Family & friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St. Oakland, MD, Monday, February 20, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Barbara Rexrode officiating and assisted by Rev. Sam Moore.
At David's request he will be cremated with inurnment in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
