David Kitzmiller

David Martin Kitzmiller, 53, of Oakland died on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on March 28, 1965, in Oakland, he was the son of Helen Louise (Steyer) Kitzmiller of Oakland and the late Leon David Kitzmiller, Jr. He loved building sailboats and had worked for Flying Scot for thirty years; more recently he had worked as a coil winder for Phenix Technologies. David enjoyed camping, fishing, especially with his nephew, and spending time with his daughter and grandkids. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa (Corbin) Kitzmiller; his daughter, Larissa Kitzmiller and Shane Fazenbaker of Oakland; two granddaughters, Lariah Kitzmiller and Adalynne Fazenbaker; a sister, Debbie Chapman of McHenry; nephew and great nephew, Randy Chapman, Jr. and Levi A. Chapman; and his dog and buddy, Peter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena and Arthur Steyer and Cynthia and Leon Kitzmiller, Sr., and a dog Jake. According to his wishes, David will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is assisting with arrangements.
