David Holtschneider

David F. Holtschneider, 71, of Swanton died on Friday, December 7, 2018. Born on August 1, 1947, in Essex, he was the son of the late Henry E. and Nellie V. (Murphy) Holtschneider. David was a veteran of the United States Army and a former horticultural instructor. He is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Parker) Holtschneider, in 2015. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2ndSt., Oakland on Monday, December 10 from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 11 at 10 AM with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the Murphy Cemetery, Swanton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
