Daniel Liston

Daniel Liston, 70, of Aurora, WV passed away August 18, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 15, 1941 in Uledia, PA a son of the late Robert Earl Liston and Edna Ruth (Sickles) Liston.He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Linda Ruth (Harsh) Liston, 2 sons, Daniel Robert (Pamela) Liston, James Andrew (Tammy) Liston, 2 daughters, Rebecca Jean (Robert) McCoy, Joanne Liston Knupsky, 3 step-children Kristine and Michael Ridenour, Darin and Kathy Jo Ayers and Brian and Amy Ayers, 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He severed in the U.S. Army, and belonged to the Sheet Metal Workers Local #12 of Pittsburgh, PA. He worked as a metalworker all of his life. He loved farming and his John Deere Tractors.
Friends will be received at Stemple Ridge United Methodist Church Saturday August 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the church Sunday August 21, 2011 at 4:00 pm, with the Rev. John Foy officiating. Interment will follow in The Stemple Ridge Cemetery.
