Dale Moats

Dale Junior Moats, 82, of Aurora, WV died January 10, 2017 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home in Oakland, MD. He was born September 30, 1934 in Aurora, WV a son of the late Hugh Guy Moats and Isis Melvina Moats. Mr. Moats was never married. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Preceding him in death were 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
Mr. Moats was employed by Sisler Lumber for many years. He worked both in the woods falling trees and at the sawmill. He enjoyed taking walks, watching TV and hunting.
Friends were received on Friday January 13, 2017 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 9:00 until 11:00AM the funeral hour. Rev. Neil Parsons officiated and interment followed in the Aurora Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
