Curtis Bonner

Curtis Maxwell Bonner, 78, of Canaan Valley, WV passed away September 13, 2012 at Garret County Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1934 a son of the late Solomon Victor and Oda Kate Teter Bonner. Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by 1 son, Eric Bonner, 2 brothers, Hobert, Howard, 5 sisters Maysel, Alta, Pauline, Opal and Ruby. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Smith Bonner, 2 sons, Curtis (Robin) Bonner, Davis, WV and Quentin (Becky) Bonner, Spartanburg, SC, 4 grandchildren Katherine, Sarah, Kristen and Jacob.
Mr. Bonner was a carpenter and was self-employed as Bonner Construction. He enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his family. He was a 1952 graduate of Davis High School, and a memeber of the Odd Fellows LOdge # 103.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Monday September 17, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM the funeral hour with the Rev. Dennis Leatherman officiating.
Interment to follow in the Buena Cemetery.
