Courtnay Tasker

Courtnay Marie Tasker, 18, of Oakland died on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Born on August 22, 1995 in Oakland, she was the daughter of Virginia Rose-Marie Tasker of Oakland and James Allen "Jaime" Tasker and wife Jennifer of Mt. Savage. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Matthew Ryan Tasker of Oakland; step-sisters, Emily and Jamie Brehm and step-brother, Tristen Brehm of Mt. Savage; maternal grandmother, Bertha Tasker of Oakland; paternal grandmother, Norma J. Rodeheaver and husband Bill of Oakland; great grandmothers, Mary Evans of Mt. Storm, WV, Laura A. Friend and Mary Rodeheaver, both of Oakland; aunts and uncles, Gina and Ron Lewis, Russell and Laura Tasker, James and Patty Tasker, Jerry and Patty Tasker, Joshua and Ashley Rodeheaver, Tim Tasker and Terry Tasker, all of Oakland; a niece, Michelle Rose Tasker; a nephew, Gavin Charles Tasker; and a number of cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles "Yogi" Tasker and paternal grandfather, Stanley "Bucky" Tasker. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, November 6th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the Mt. Top Christian Assembly, Mt. Lake Park on Thursday, November 7th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Cindy Tichnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasker Cemetery.
