Cornell Lucille Arbogast, 85, of Davis, WV passed away December 22, 2013 at her home.
She was born May 22, 1929 in Canaan Valley, WV a daughter of the late Lee Allen and Agnes Peachie Butcher Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Zane Arbogast in 1990. Also preceding her in death was 1 son, Lester Firl, 1 daughter-in-law Barb Firl, 2 brothers, Robert Reed and Floyd Mullenax Jr., and 5 sisters, Elsie Pennington, Vivetta Liller, Nancy Hayes, Joann Lipscomb, and Margaret Sell. She is survived by 1 son Phil (Carleen) Firl, Montrose, WV, 3 brothers, Harry Truman Reed, Davis, WV, Carlton Reed, Piguia, OH, and James Reed, Cleveland, OH, 2 sisters, Sharon Gibson, FL, and Sue Pardon, Piguia, OH, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Arbogast was employed by Worden's Restaurant as a cook for many years and later by the City of Davis for several years. She was a member of FOE #936 Ladies Auxiliary and Church of God affiliation. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, and crocheting.
Friends will be received December 23, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held December 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Hinkle Funeral Home with Rev. Ruth Bullwinkle officiating.
