Cody Ferguson

Cody Wade Ferguson age 20 of Oakland, MD died at his residence on Saturday March 13, 2010. Born in Frederick, Maryland he was the son of Susan (Mason) Newton and step father Bob Newton Jr..

Also surviving one brother Travis Newton, maternal grandparents Charlie and Lorraine Mason of Oakland, Paternal grandparents Phil and Vera Ferguson of Oakland, great grandmother June Biser of Oakland, aunts and uncles Andy and Laura Mason, John and Tammy Mattingly, cousins Sarah, Mark, Craig, Colt, Chase, a very special friend Joe Friend, also surviving are a host of friends and family.

Cody was a 2007 graduate of Southern Garrett High School, was an active member of the Garrett County 4-H, an avid fisherman, and enthusiastic supporter of Southern and WVU athletic programs.

Friends will be received on Monday March 15, 2010 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm in the Faith Evangelical Free Church, Mt. Lake Park. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 16, 2010 at 11:00 am in the church with the Reverend David Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
