Clifford Savage

Clifford Lee Savage 77, of Oakland died Thursday June 17, 2010 at his home. Born July 8, 1923 he was a son of the late Stanley and Grace Keefer Savage. Mr. savage was also proceeded in death by one sister Betty Cooper.
Clifford was an avid golfer and gardener; and was employed by Browning's Foodland for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife Shirley "Peck" Savage, two daughters Brenda Gnegy and husband Stephen of Oakland, and Lisa Kinney and husband Kevin of Oakland; brothers Clinton Savage of Dillon, SC, Kenneth Savage of Oakland; a half brother Ralph Keefer; sisters Geraldine Wolfe of Oakland, Thelma Bowers of Ft Ashby, WV and Carolyn Cogley of Oakland; and three grandchildren, Hannah Gnegy, Carinna Lewis and Alanna Kinney.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home 21 N. Second Street, Oakland on Sunday June 20, 2010 from 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday June 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Bonser officiating.
