Clarice Ringer

June 18, 1922 — July 4, 2016

Clarice "Glendine" Ringer, 94, of Oakland died on Monday, July 4, 2016, at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on June 18, 1922 in Corinth, WV, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Virginia (Wright) Lewis Riley. She was a member of the Corinth United Methodist Church. She loved singing as well as playing the guitar and keyboard. In addition to her musical talents, she was also enjoyed writing, painting and caring for both her indoor and outdoor flowers. Glendine will be lovingly remembered as a lady who cared deeply for her family and took great pride in her home. She is survived by her three children, JoAnn Fazenbaker of Oakland, Robert Ringer and wife Linda of Twinsburg, OH and Linda Roy and husband Jim of Weston, WV; grandchildren, Mike Fazenbaker and wife Amy, Karin McCoy, Katie Bach and husband Cory, Amy Roy Summers, Angie Corrigan and husband Jay, and Justin Roy; great grandchildren, Peyton Fazenbaker, Allison Bach, Spencer Bach, Chloe McCoy, Emma McCoy, Tyler Summers, Audrey Corrigan and Ava Corrigan; and a sister, Doris Schnopp of Terra Alta, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Willard Ralph Ringer, on December 20, 2013. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, July 6th from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 8th at 11 AM with Pastor Eric Beeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corinth United Methodist Church,c/o Kelley Fultz, 1442 Freeport Rd., Terra Alta, WV 26764.
