Clarence W. Stemple, Sr. 71 of Oakland, MD passed away at his residence, August 30, 2010.
Clarence was born on January 8, 1939 in Oakland, MD and was the son of the late Clarence and Elsie Stemple. He was preceded in death by five brothers; Elwood Stemple, Charles Stemple, Robert Stemple, Lawrence Stemple, Harley Stemple and sister, Helen Burns.
He is survived by his wife, Della Mae (Thomas) Stemple,two daughters, Judy Broadwater, Oakland, MD and Connie Kirkham, McHenry, MD, seven sons, Earl Thomas, Terry Stemple, Robert Stemple, Johnny Stemple, Clarence Stemple, Jr. ,William Stemple, Brent Stemple all of Oakland, MD, four sisters Roseanne Tasker, Finsburg, MD, Margaret Nair, Florida, Patricia Welch and Betty Burns, both of Oakland, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Bentley officiating. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
