Charles Edward Corbitt, 77, of Dry Fork, WV passed away December 15, 2014 in Elkins, WV.
He was born August 3, 1937 in Summersville, WV a son of the late Edward Murray and Nancy Jane Workman Corbitt. He is survived by his wife, Grace Louise Mallow Corbitt, also surviving are 2 sons, Mike (Lisa) Corbitt, Hendricks, WV, and Jeff (Brenda) Corbitt, Dry Fork, WV, 4 daughters, Judy (Ralph) Forte, Port Charlotte, FL, Debra (Marvin) Rohrbaugh, Dry Fork, WV, Norma (Rick) Summerfield, Parsons, WV, Bonnie Corbitt and companion David Paugh, Thomas, WV, 2 brothers, Richard "Bill" Corbitt, Summersville, WV and Flavie Corbitt, Nettie, WV, 2 sisters, Mary and Ruth Corbitt, 13 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ronald and Donald Corbitt, and 3 brothers.
Mr. Corbitt worked for the Harman Department of Highways for 32 years. He loved hunting, fishing, garden and yard work.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Sebastian officiating. Interment will follow in Roy Cemetery.
