Catherine Harvey

Catherine "Cathy" Waunita Harvey, 93, of Oakland died on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her home. Born on December 19, 1918 in Schell, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Mary F. (Rowan) Murphy. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte J. Mousch and husband Bill, Carolyn Y. Shreve and husband Mayo, and Delores Ann Pangle; grandchildren, Mary Susan Sines, Lois Burns and husband Steve, Joe Mousch Sr., Sandy (Shreve) Crosby and husband Mike, Wayne Shreve and wife Jackie, and Cathy Nightengale and husband Harold; great grandchildren, Terri Lynn (Crosby) McRobie and husband Adam, Ashley E. Crosby, Matthew Burns and wife Samantha, Brandon and Brittany Burns, Heather (Crosby) Carter, Michael Crosby, Harley Crosby, Dustin Shreve and wife Amanda, Ryan and Holly Shreve, John and Joey Mousch Jr., Emily, Cary, Katie, Karen, Kerri Ann, Rachel and Rebeca Nightengale; great great grandchildren, Zander Crosby, Alaiyah and Kyilee Shreve, and Corey Riley; step great grandchildren, Steven Sines, Skylar Nightengale and Cortlynn Buckman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton I. Harvey, to whom she was married in 1939; one brother, Joe Murphy; one sister, Phyllis Simms; a son in law, Don Pangle; and grandson in law, Greg Sines. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, November 28th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A graveside funeral service will be held at White Church Cemetery on Thursday, November 29th at 11 AM with Rev. Barbara Fike officiating.
