Carolyn Wilson

Carolyn "Connie" Wilson, 72, of Oakland died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on September 24, 1941 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Christa (Tasker) Browning and the granddaughter of the late Scott and Minnie Tasker. Connie and her husband Samuel were distributors for Potomac Farms for over 30 years, she worked for Fitzwater Furniture and also sold Avon for forty years. She is survived by two sons, Samuel J. Wilson, Jr. and wife Crystal of Swanton and Galen M. Wilson and wife Alexandria of Fayettesville, PA; a daughter, Debbie Wilt and husband Marty of Oakland; five grandchildren, Keith, Jeremy, Samuel III, Tabitha and Alaina Wilson; two great grandchildren, Taylan and Braelynn Wilson; a brother Mike Pratt of Gibsonsburg, OH; a sister, Georgeania Beckman and husband Harold of Keyser, WV; and several special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel J. Wilson, Sr. in 1994 and a sister in law, Donna Pratt. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, February 24th from 5 to 8 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor John Skipper officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery.
