Carolyn Lambert

Carolyn Louise (Miller) Lambert, 58, of Aurora, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Born on May 4, 1966, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Miller, Jr. and Anna Darlene Sweitzer.

Carolyn "Sissy" was a giver and a lover of people and animals. She could be described as ornery and she always brought joy and laughter wherever she went. You could always find her rescuing stray animals, feeding wild animals, riding the Harley with Buddy, loving on the kids, or cracking jokes. She reminded her family and friends of the beauty and magic that can get lost as we grow older. She had a way of inspiring everyone to enjoy life, showing everyone that its the little moments of joy and playfulness that really matter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Buddy" Lambert of Aurora; her stepson, Shaun Lambert and wife Leticia of Arthurdale, WV; her siblings, Joanna Welch and husband Thomas of Deer Park, Stephen Miller of Terra Alta, and Michael Miller of Oakland; and many loving nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM at the Aurora Memorial Building, 24084 George Washington Hwy, Aurora, WV 26705. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 AM in the Aurora Memorial Building with Pastors Ivan and Cindy Ackerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Accident Cemetery.
