Carolyn Bennett

Carolyn J. Bennett 86 of Spraggs, PA died peacefully in her sleep Thursday May, 13, 2010 at home with here family. She was born in Elk Garden, WV December 12, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Dessie (Hickey) Harvey, three Brothers Dempsey Harvey, Dewey Harvey and James Hickey and two Sisters, Emogean Cosner, and Josephine Dawson. Two sons Elmer Bennett, Earnest Bennett and one Daughter Cecil May Bennett. A mother of 14 survived by 11 children three Daughters Betty Bennett and Joan Harvey or Morgantown, Sue Lewis of Spraggs, PA Eight Sons Randy Bennett and Donald Bennett of Spraggs, PA James and Judy Bennett of Wana, WV, Richard Bennett and Michael Martin of Morgantown, Ival and Caroline Martin of Uniontown, PA, and William and Tracy Martin and Rick and Darlene Martin of Birmingham, AL. Numerous grand kids and great grand kids Friends will be received to pay tribute to Carolyn and to celebrate her life on Saturday May, 15 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Morgantown, WV with Rev. Fred Tomlinson at 8pm. Additional visitation will be held at the Burdocks Funeral Home in Kitzmiller, MD on Sunday May 16, 2010 from 11a.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. Burial will follow in the Nethkin Hill Cemetery in Elk Garden, WV
