Carlton Reams

Carlton Henry Reams, 68, of Oakland, died on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  Born on December 7, 1948, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Evelyn E. (Ream) Reams.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War.  He was a Union member and worked as an equipment operator for both Arnold Brothers and Preston Contractors.  He was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren.  In addition to spending time with his family, he loved fishing, hunting and camping.  He is survived by his children, HenryReams and wife Shannon, Michelle Davis and husband Dan, John Reams and significant other Autumn Wood, Christy Reams, Timothy Reams and significant other Brittany Harvey, and Wade Boldman and wife Cassy, all of Oakland; grandchildren, Haley Friend, C.J. and Nick Davis, Taylor, Anthony, Abby and Makenna Reams, Kaden Boldman and Levi Chapman; brother, Gary Reams and wife Betty of Oakland; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd Street, Oakland on Wednesday, May 17th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren on Thursday, May 18th at 11 AM with Pastor Gary Clem officiating.  Interment will follow in the Taylor-Sines Cemetery.  Military honors will be accorded by the combined honor guard of the American Legion Post #71 and the Deer Park VFW Post #10077.
