Carl Paugh

Carl Bernard Paugh, 90, of Kitzmiller died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born on October 28, 1923 in Emoryville, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Anna (Deshong) Paugh. He was a retired coal miner who loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Michael Paugh of Kitzmiller, Sandra Poore of Martinsburg, WV, Donna Sisler of Oakland and Bonnie Schrier of Kitzmiller; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie (Evans) Paugh; a daughter, Peggy Paugh; and eleven brothers and sisters. Carl was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Sunday, February 9th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 10th at 11 AM with Rev. Joe Tichinel officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
