Calvin Parsons, 81, of Harman, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2020. He was born April 14, 1938 in Wilbar, North Carolina, a son to the late Gaither and Effie Parsons.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Parsons of Chesterfield, Virginia, two daughters, Amy Cooper (Clay Halem) of Harman, West Virginia and Roxana White of Elkins, West Virginia, six grandchildren, Brooke, Misty, Ashley, Timothy, Emily, and Dalton, nine great-grandchildren, Summer, Maverick, Millie, Dwayne, Peyton, Willie, Isaiah, and Greyson, four sisters, Mildred Shew, Audrey King, Moselle White, and Brenda Poe, one brother, Bob Parsons, and his girlfriend Judy Showalter
He was preceded in death by loving, sweet wife Mildred, two sons-in-law, Daryl Cooper and Mark White, two sisters, Clara Parsons and Carol Wyatt, two brothers, Smith Parsons and Bill Parsons.
Mr. Parsons was a member of Dryfork Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cutting wood. No one could Sharpen a chainsaw like him and he was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Friends will be received at Dryfork Assembly of God Church, Wednesday, March 18, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with funeral services held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bill Lewellen officiating.
