Brenda Yost

Brenda Marie Yost, 65, of Oakland died on Friday, April 23, 2021, Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on August 20, 1955, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon W. and Glendora L. (Cooper) Yost. She was a 1973 graduate of Southern High School and, after high school, she was a cook at several restaurants. Brenda had many talents including playing any musical instrument and art.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening her herbs and her house plants.

Brenda was a free spirit and lived by the motto "Dream about Tomorrow but Live for Today."

Brenda is survived by a daughter, Amber of WV; 5 grandchildren; and a sister, Susan L. Yost-LaFrance and husband Donald of TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Dawn Yost,  her paternal grandparents; Harry L Yost Sr and Sarah V (McKenzie) Yost, and maternal grandparents, Otis Page and Juanita Catherine ( Brooks) Cooper.
