Brandy Shaluta, 45, of Oakland, passed away on March 23, 2025, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on April 28, 1979, she was the daughter of Sam and Debbie (Ridder) Shaluta of Oakland.

Brandy was a graduate of Southern High School. She attended Crossroads Church and cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially her children, whom she held dear. Brandy enjoyed walks, playing games with her kids, bowling, putt-putt golf, dancing, and listening to music. Known for her big heart and beautiful smile, she loved working with people, particularly alongside her mom at Little Rascals Early Learning Center. There, she spoiled the children with affection and delighted in their activities, earning their love as "Ms. Brandy." Her warmth and vibrant spirit will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Brandy is survived by her sons, Blake Roy and Easton Roy of Alva, FL; her twin brother, Bricen Shaluta, and his wife, Jackie, of Stephenson, VA; her paternal grandmother, Janet Shaluta of Oakland; her nephew and niece, Jaxson and Kelsey Shaluta of Stephenson, VA; four aunts, Junell Harsh of Aurora, Heidi Ruggerio and husband Sam of Oakland, Susan Piper and husband Fritz of Oakland, and Elaine Casteel and partner Pete Buonocore of Dubois, WY; her boyfriend, Brad Bennett; and numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Willovene Ridder, and her paternal grandfather, Sam H. Shaluta.

Brandy's request for cremation was honored. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes, P.A., Oakland Chapel, is honored to be serving the Shaluta family.
