Brandon Brown

Brandon Blake Brown, 15, of Oakland, whose life ended way too soon on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, was the beloved son of Bruce E. and Linda L. (Paugh) Brown of Oakland. He was born on December 5, 2006, in Morgantown WV.

Brandon was a sophomore at Southern Garrett High School in Oakland. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed fashion and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, David "Scottie" Brown, and Josh Moon and wife Nicole, both of Oakland; two sisters, Chelsea Abe and husband Makoto of Japan, and Cassie Cogley and husband Adam of Oakland; three nieces, Lyla, Alyssa "Bobo", and El'e Jean; three nephews, Caedon, Braydon, and Benji; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Paugh of Oakland; paternal grandparents, Dale and Shirley Brown of Oakland; an uncle, Kenny Paugh and wife Wendy of Oakland; an aunt, Tammy Mellott and husband Alex, of Oakland; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara (Jackson) Paugh.

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland and on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 AM with Pastor Sam Moon officiating.
