Bonnie Lewis

Bonnie Sue Lewis, 68, of Oakland died on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on May 20, 1949, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Ray and Prema Clara (Friend) Bowman. She was the owner of Bonnie’s Cleaning Service and worked with her late husband in their business, Lewis Used Cars and Towing. Bonnie loved cleaning, casinos, cooking, and recently, watching the wildlife. She was deeply committed to her family and her community and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by three children, Tammy Sue Morgan and husband Terry, DeWayne Eddie Lewis and wife Gayla, and Michael Scott Lewis and wife Linda; former daughter in law, Donnette Lewis; numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Parker and Faith; brothers and sisters, Patty Glotfelty and husband Wayne, Pamla Dixon and husband Eugene, Rick Bowman and wife Loretta “Hope”, and Milton “Buck” Bowman; brother in law, Larry Cheek; former brother in law, Dale Layton and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Edward O. Lewis, in 2015; a son, Jamie Lewis, in 2017; granddaughter, Tiffany Morgan; sister and brothers, Darlene Cheek, Clifford Bowman and James Allen Bowman. Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, January 15th from 12 to 2 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Joe Spiker officiating.
