Bill Elliott

William Finley Elliott, age 66, of Oakland, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home.  Born on May 22, 1954 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Willard and Mary (Aspinall) Elliott.

Bill was a graduate of Southern Garrett high School.  He received a Bachelor's Degree from West Virginia University and a Master's Degree at Frostburg State University.  He was an employee of Garrett Industrial Supply in Oakland.  Bill was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed playing golf.

Bill is survived by one daugher, Alexis Folk of Accident; three sisters, Meredith Jones of Ormand Beach, Florida, Liz Lewis and husband Paul of Oakland and Ann Elliott of McHenry; and five nephews.  He leaves behind many friends he cared for.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, December 24, 2020 from 10-12 PM.  A committal service will immediately follow with Rev. Dr. C. Scott Robinson officiating.  Private interment will be held in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.  (Face masks are required and social distancing must be maintained.  If you are feeling ill, please stay home and visit with the family at a later date.)
