Beverly Ann Sisler, 77, of Oakland, MD, passed away on September 23, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. Born on March 26, 1945, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Romesburg) Skipper.
Beverly was a member of Pine Grove Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed traveling to car shows with John in their street rods. Being an avid Steelers fan, you had to be careful where you sat when she watched the games as she was known to get very excited. She loved spending time with her family, cooking for them, and spending holidays with them, especially at Christmas time. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Samuel Sisler, to whom she was married on April 12, 1963; three grandsons, T.J. Sisler and wife Kaitlyn, Chase Sisler and wife Shelby and Ty Sisler, all of Oakland; two great-granddaughters, Ava and Ella Sisler, both of Oakland; a sister, Kim O'Brien and husband Ronnie of Swanton; a nephew, Jason Skipper of Oakland; and a niece, Lori Hardman and husband Matt of Keyser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Sisler; a grandson, Brady Sisler; a brother, Bob Skipper; and a nephew, Danny O'Brien.
Friends will be received Monday, September 26, 2022, from 5 to 8 PM at C & S Fredlock Funeral Home 21 N. Second St. Oakland. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Sisler family at this time.
